Education & Audit Committee
This Committee encourages membership from each of the National Associations. Its mandate is to ensure that WE training courses and audits are designed, promoted, maintained and carried out in line with the WE Guidelines for Good Hygiene Practices.
The Committee promotes the highest standards of quality and hygiene throughout the European water dispenser industry through Bottling Plant and Distributor/Operator audits, based on WE Guidelines for Good Hygiene Practices.
The audits are undertaken by internationally recognised and certified agencies. The Committee ensures that the WE Codes comply with and incorporate the requirements of all relevant EU Directives, creating the necessary Check Lists and supporting the Members to successfully pass the third-party inspections.
Standards & Technical Committee
The technical developments and legislation related to the water dispenser industry are monitored by the Standard & Technical Committee. The Committee advises the members and follows up on any regulations which could affect the further development of their specific products.
The committee works with the EU Regulators when necessary to protect the interests of the industry. The WE Technical Manual, produced by the committee, comprises relevant information for the Members and provides an unimpeachable quality standard for the industry.
