For the second year, Italian based water cooler, dispenser and purifier specialist Zerica has won a coveted Red Dot Award.
Established in 1955, the Red Dot Award is an international design competition for product design, communication design and design concepts.
“The Smart-Top water dispenser impresses with an innovative design approach for visually convincing operation on the kitchen counter.”
The Smart-Top water dispenser consists of three interconnected elements: cooling and heating units, a well-designed tap and a touchscreen. The touchscreen is embedded right into the kitchen counter and allows portion sizes and target temperatures to be precisely defined by type – boiling, chilled or ambient. Thanks to the IoT-enabled product connectivity, information about water consumption, filter and the CO₂ canister is available to users in real time over the internet.
