In the UK, the Water Dispenser and Hydration Association revealed its new Code of Practice at its recent Spring Conference at Brandon Hall Hotel near Coventry on 18th April 2024.
The document is a single point of reference for those who require and supply hydration solutions. Customers are seeking a wider range of hydration solutions, and WHA Members are at the forefront of fulfilling this need.
The Code of Practice is specifically for WHA Members to share with their customers so that they can understand the benefits of procuring from a WHA Member and all that entails.
Along with traditional water dispensers, both bottled and mains fed, consumers are requesting hydration solutions specifically for the hospitality industry, integrated tap systems for both commercial and domestic use, hot water dispensers, and indoor and outdoor bottle filling stations. All these products are now included under the WHA remit and included in our standards, meaning that customers can be assured that WHA’s “Quality Trust Standards” cover the whole range.
The Code describes the WHA requirements for the sale, location, installation, hygienic operation, maintenance and sanitisation of water dispensers, and WHA Members offer full support for all products supplied.
