At the end of June, as part of Watercoolers Europe’s support for National Associations, WE Director General Gustav Felix had some meetings with the Romanian Association in Bucharest.
“It was a very successful exchange of information which also gave me the opportunity to visit Cumpana and their new modern bottling facility on the edge of Bucharest.,” says Gustav Felix.
The Romanian watercooler market expects growth of around 15% until 2026, to reach 127,000 bottled water cooler installations and 70.000 POU units.
“The Romanian Association ‘ADA19’ (Asociatia Distribuitorlilor De Apa La 19 Litri) puts in a lot of effort and does remarkable work to promote healthy hydration,” Gustav says. “It is worth considering Bucharest as the perfect location for the next WE Event after Vienna.”
Gustav added: “At the beginning of the 20th century, in its glorious days, Bucharest was called ‘Le Petit Paris’.”
