In the UK, the Water Dispenser & Hydration Association (the WHA) is to hold its first conference and trade show in spring 2023 and has announced more information about the event.
Celebrating our industry evolution
On 1st January 2020 two organisations in the UK water-dispenser industry came together to form the Water Dispenser and Hydration Association (WHA).
At the conference, entitled: “Celebrating Our Industry Evolution”, members of the Executive Council and Committees will share their vision of the future and how Members can help to achieve the Association’s objectives and embrace the future.
Professor Damian Hughes (right) is to be the keynote speaker. He is an international speaker and author of the appropriately titled best-selling management book, Liquid Thinking.
He has a practical and academic background in the sports, organisational development and change management from which he draws to help organisations, teams, and individuals to create a high performance, winning culture.
Zenith Global Chairman Richard Hall will share the latest Market Intelligence in a session that is important to companies considering their next strategic moves.
Brendan Hanlon, Head of Fundraising and Communications, for WHA’s chosen charity Just a Drop will update delegates on the latest borehole to be constructed in Zambia and the wider implications of the construction of the boreholes over the last 6 years.
The conference and trade show is significant for the water dispenser sector as it is the first of the planned ‘annual’ conferences and trade shows since the inception of the Association – with the first planned events being shelved due to Covid.
The event is to take place at the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel in Milton Keynes.
Features will include an industry trade show, seminars, an ‘eco-village’ showcasing charities and sustainability experts and a charity dinner which will raise money for the Association’s chosen charity, Just a Drop.
Booking is now open at www.twha.co.uk/conference
The event is open to WHA members and to trade non-members.
