Monolite, the concept machine designed by Davide Livermore – opera artist, the only one who inaugurated the season of the Teatro alla Scala for four years in a row; and Simona Ghizzoni – activist photographer for women’s right and environmental… has received the Good Design Award 2022, a prestigious international prize created in 1950 by Eero Saarinen and Charles and Ray Eames and organised by the “Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies”.
Selected among more than 900 design and graphic projects nominated from 47 countries, Monolite was included in the Retail Fittings category as an example of good design for the hospitality sector, recognising its aesthetic and functional values which reflect the principles of innovation, sustainability, entrepreneurial culture and creativity that distinguish the company’s history.
