This year, the Watercoolers Europe Standards & Technical Committee has made significant progress in enhancing technical and safety standards across the industry. Here’s a look at the key achievements.

These milestones reflect our commitment to setting higher standards and fostering innovation. Together, we’re building a safer, more efficient future for the watercooler industry!

Advancing Energy Efficiency: A comprehensive plan to update ENERGY EFFICIENCY PROTOCOLS for watercoolers was launched, with milestones set throughout 2025 to ensure compliance with CE and EU regulations.

Technical Manual Progress: Critical chapters on HYGIENE, DISPENSING EQUIPMENT, AND TREATMENTS are on track, with several sections already completed. The manual will serve as an invaluable resource for the industry.

Safety Initiatives: FOCUSED EFFORTS ON ADDRESSING BACTERIA AND ELECTRICAL SAFETY CONCERNS, with special attention to Spain and Hungary, strengthening consumer trust in our industry.
