WE 2017 AGM – HIGHLIGHTS

April 28, 2017

Watercoolers Europe held its 2017 Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 25th April in Berlin.  Watercoolers Europe strives to develop the industry and assist Members in the marketplace.  2016 was a particularly successful financial year, and Members at the meeting passed a motion to refund the 2016 surplus to National Associations, Direct, International Supplier and Pan-European Members.

The EXECO will be working over the next few months on projects that will enhance the prospects of the industry.  Auditing and training is the most important part of WE’s role.  In 2016 WE developed three courses to be used by Members in bottling operation, depot management and hygiene.  These are available through your National Association and form part of the audit process.

WE are delighted to accept the proposal of Robert Kadijevic, Chateaud’eau, France as their new Treasurer.  This is a very important role and Robert will be overseeing the financial strategy of WE and working with the management team.

WE look forward to the 2017 event in Krakow, Poland.  Over 3 days: 24 – 26 October 2017, exhibitors and delegates will enjoy this beautiful and interesting city and all are encouraged to visit the dedicated website and make your bookings early  www.we2017.eu

The 2018 event will be held in Dublin.
