Dear Colleagues
The Watercoolers Europe 20th Anniversary in Berlin infused everyone with energy and optimism. There was a real sense that the water cooler industry is picking up the pace – in innovation, in commerce and in quality. Water coolers are reaching new and wider markets. 2014 is beckoning, inviting a sense of cautious but unmistakable optimism.
We could notice that WE members are aiming for a brighter future embracing new technologies. Celebrating WE history and evolution on the other hand made that it was a good balance for a lively positive energy that WE feels bodes well for the whole industry.
Our Aims for the New Year 2014 are to:
- Continue improving our communication with members, including regular newsletters and website updates, National Association interactions and social media use.
- Continue working with the Point Of Use sector as it continues to gain ground - a trend that was reflected in the number of POU subjects and products seen during the WE Trade Fair in Berlin
- Cultivate new Board and Committee members to keep the energy at WE growing and relevant. Help us meet the challenges of 2014 – get involved with WE!
- Continue to ensure that Watercoolers Europe is the reference for all our members and National Associations when they are faced with any issues such as regulatory challenges.
We head now towards 2014 and I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all, personally and on behalf of all the Execo, a good end of the year as well as a great beginning to 2014 in peace, joy and happiness.
