WATERCOOLERS EUROPE Latest Market Trends

At the WE event in Dublin Richard Hall, Chairman of Zenith Global revealed insights into the European market.  A full report is available in this month’s “Refreshment” magazine.

• There were 4.5 million coolers in East and West Europe at the end of 2017, representing a 3% increase on 2019
• €1.5 billion was generated in revenue, representing a 4% increase from 2019
• There was an average of €350 per unit in 2017
• There were 3 million bottled water coolers, up 2%
• There were 1.5 million mains-fed coolers, up 6%
• East Europe is growing faster than West Europe, with a rise of 3.6% to 2.1 million units in December 2017.
