The Austrian Association AWA launches new website

The Austrian watercooler association (Interessensverband der Österreichischen Trinkwasserspenderanbieter) AWA is pleased to announce that it now has opened their website.
The Association was founded in Vienna in 2005 by Blue Dolphin and Triple A Aqua Service and despite its small size has been very active in defending the interests of the industry in Austria with wider implications throughout the EU.
Several watercoolers monitoring tests were done in Austria and in order to support the activities of legislators in regard to consumer protection and safety it became necessary to have the Austrian Association represented in the Codex Sub-Commission B17. The President of AWA Gustav Felix was nominated as permanent member of the Commission in 2006.
An Industry Meeting was organized in Vienna in June 2013 and in the meantime the Association has grown from 3 to 6 members: TRIPLE A; GREINER Packaging; FRESHWATER; AQTO; WATERLOGIC and URSTEINER.
