Strengthening bonds with Eastern Europe: WE Starts to Publish in Russian Language
January 17, 2013
Since December, Eastern Europe Members have been able to read articles, news and interviews in Russian.
As Eastern Europe continues to raise its profile in the watercooler industry, Watercoolers Europe is working hard to strengthen the foundations of WE with members from this region. As Alain Adler said in his first interview with us as WE Chairman, “WE needs to further develop the relationship between Western and Eastern Europe by integrating the different cultures and different approaches of the HOD industry. Once we have achieved that, then WE will be an even stronger organization. It is challenging but it is doable”.
Now, in accordance with the Chairman’s words, WE has made it easier for Russian-speaking people to stay up-to-date with all of our most relevant information by publishing articles in both English and Russian. WE Eastern members are also receiving our monthly newsletter… in Russian, of course.
With regard to this initiative, WE Vice Chairman Sergey Tratsevsky - who is leading this project - said: “I think this will be well received by Russian-speaking people in
Eastern Europe. WE is a great source of expertise about the industry, particularly at a time when the use of the English language in Eastern European countries is still relatively low, so this new option will definitely help more people to have instant access to the most up-to-date news”.
