Dear WE Member, colleagues and friends,

As 2015 draws to a close, I would like to reflect on what Watercoolers Europe has achieved, and our plans for 2016.

  • On behalf of the industry, WE has been influential in ensuring that legislation and regulation changes are managed sensibly and as such, WE has  been instrumental in helping to maintain a safe and profitable European market and industry
  • The “Exploring New Frontiers” Conference, Fair and Gala Dinner was definitely a “not to be missed” major event, with exhibitors from all over the globe, a testimony to the effectiveness of our ability  to attract the key decision makers and the confidence in the future growth of the industry
  • The Aqua Awards took on a whole new exciting, modern feel with high-tech, innovative on-line voting, ensuring that the most creative and successful entries are selected by the broader membership
  • WE continues to promote the concept of the “dual offering” of both bottled water and POU water coolers
  • Communication through regular newsletters and website updates continue to improve and reach more Members and the wider industry
  • Development of the technical manual due to be published in 2016 will give Members a POU code of practice, “raising the bar” and ensuring there is a tangible commercial benefit in quality and service for WE Members.

We have a bright future ahead of us as we continue to see the incorporation of both bottled water and POU hydration into the business model of all our National Association Members.

Watercoolers Europe represents a vibrant, fast growing and profitable health and hydration industry and plays a vital part in creating the commercial environment for which Members, Suppliers and all associated parties can become part of a long-term sustainable hydration industry.

As we head towards 2016 I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all, personally and on behalf of all the WE EXECO, a great personal and business year end as well as an excellent beginning to 2016 in peace, joy, happiness and good health.
