Diane Koyich, Crystal Mountain - RIP
November 16, 2015
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our colleague and friend, Diane Koyich (Crystal Mountain), who died on Sunday, 15th November 2015, at home in Edmonton, Canada, surrounded by her family. Diane had fought Leukaemia with the same feisty enthusiasm she approached all aspects of her life.
Diane lived a short but fulfilled and successful life, travellling and working around the world, touching the lives of many with her infectious spirit and energy. Her career started in Edmonton as a Wholisitic health practioner where she owned Life Rhythms and published a Wholistic health magazine. She was commended for this work by the YWCA with the nomination of Woman of The Year in the early 90s.
She relocated to England in 1997 with her husband, Fred Partington, and daughter to open the European office of his company, Crystal Mountain Products Ltd. This new chapter saw her shift to the corporate world, though she always maintained and shared her wisdom from her Wholistic roots. Her refreshing approach to business led to her being appointed to the Executive Committees of the British Bottled Water Association and the European Bottled Water Association. She became Chair of the International Council of Bottled Water Associations after several years serving on the board, an achievement she was extremely proud of. She achieved great success in all her endeavours and is remembered for her contributions to both the Wholistic health community in Edmonton and the international bottled water industry.
Watercoolers Europe are indebted to Diane for the many hours of unselfish work she devoted to the watercooler industry in Europe and internationally. Her work especially on the EXECO, Communications Committee and International Suppliers Committee proved instrumental to the development of WE. She will be greatly missed.
Our thoughts are with Fred, family and many friends.
