Changes at Semo Group

Francois Jolly, Managing Director of the Semo Group has developed the company in many ways over the past year.  He reports:

  • Aqua Pyrenees, now 20 years old, opened a new bottling plant in Franconville, near Paris in 2013.
  • Andoni Isasi joined Aqua Pyrenees and the OP team, replacing Laurent Alozy.
  • Semoflex, their flexible packaging division was sold to the Noramptco Group.
  • Acquisition of 2 springs from Nestle Waters:

           - Val Saint Lambert, near Paris. This location produces Aquarelle & Saint-Lambert.
           - Plancoët in the west of France.

  • SEMO Group is launching a new Cola on French Market called  “ SOWEST”
  • Aqua Pyrenees International: This new company, started in July, focuses on the African market marketing products for the bottling industry.  It currently represents Ebac, Winnix, Portola, Canaletas and OP with new products to come.
  • OP has signed an exclusive dealership agreement for the Middle East with Technica from Lebanon, and plans to manufacture its new “OP ME” crate in Dubaï area.
